HealthCamp San Diego | Join the conversation on March 20th!

San Diego’s second healthcare ‘unconference’ will take place at the Rady School of Management, Sunday March 20th, 2011, 9 – 10AM (registration/breakfast/morning social), unconference from 10AM to 4PM, with Social Hour/Networking from 4 to 6PM) on the beautiful campus of UC San Diego atop the bluffs of Torrey Pines in La Jolla, California. HealthCamp San Diego is one of several ‘pre-conference’ activities organized in conjunction with the Health 2.0 ‘Spring Fling‘, which will be held on March 21-22, 2011 at the Hilton La Jolla also in Torrey Pines.

HealthCamp engages ‘stakeholders’ in a big tent all inclusive format ranging from health system and health policy thought leaders to physicians and consumers, as well as ancillary providers, payors, suppliers, and regulators via an ‘unconference’ format to innovate, transform and re-design health(care).

Registration for general participants is $25 and for students is $5.

As a user-organized, one day “unconference”, HealthCamp brings together all participants in a collaborative, informal exchange of ideas to find ways to improve health(care).

Attendees will generally reflect:

• Patients
• Healthcare consumers
• Health providers
• Health industry experts
• Technology professionals
• Payors

Participants themselves provide the content, with break-out sessions they develop themselves and plug into a schedule grid on the day of the event.

Anyone can present and host a session in nearly any format. Typical sessions can range from ad hoc round-table conversations to full turn-key multi-media presentations.
